About Kerala Board: Kerala Board was formed in the year 1990, Its main objective is to serve as a nodal agency and to promote higher education in the state. It is responsible to conduct academic programmes and to organize examinations.

This year 460743 candidates took part in the Kerala Class 12th examination, number of candidates were increased by 30000 as compared to the previous year stats where 432760 candidates took part in the examination including 214012 boys and 218748 girls for which the results were declared on 21 May 2018
