About us :

Army Institute of Nursing, Guwahati was established in the year 2006
under aegis of Army Welfare Education Society for the wards of serving
and exservicemen of Indian Army with a annual intake of 40 students per
year. As a welfare measure, towards people residing in north east
region, 10% seats are reserved for the civilian girls who are domicile
of seven North East States. It was a landmark in the history of Nursing
Education when this college was inaugurated on 07 Aug 2006 by Gen J J
Singh, PVSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC, Chief of Army Staff.
