Goa Board 10th Results 2012 , Class XII Goa Board results on May 22
PANAJI: The Class XII results of the Goa board of secondary and higher secondary education will be declared on May 22 at 4pm, the board announced in a press statement issued on Friday.
Students will begin receiving their statement of grades from the afternoon of May 23 onwards. The distribution of statement of grades and the results of HSSC examinations will be done for higher secondary schools in Bardez, Tiswadi, Pernem, Bicholim, Sattari and Ponda at the Goa Board office in Porvorim.
The distribution for Canacona, Quepem, Sanguem, Salcete and Mormugao talukas will be done at the south educational zone in Margao. Students can apply for verification of marks in absencia and presencia till June 26. The last date will be June 1 to apply for photocopies of answersheets, revaluation of answersheets and verification of marks.

As many as 124 schools in Dakshina Kannada have secured cent per cent results in the SSLC examination. This includes 22 government high schools, nine aided high schools and 93 unaided schools.
SSLC News 2012- Sringeri, Koppa taluk students shine in SSLC
Sringeri taluk with 95 per cent and Koppa taluk with 93 per cent have bagged first and second place in the district in SSLC examination.
Kadur taluk has bagged third place in the district with 90 per cent. Chikmagalur has scored 88 per cent, NR Pura has scored 83.8 per cent, Mudigere has scored 83.5 per cent, Birur has scored 80 per cent and Tarikere has scored 79 per cent.
In Chikmagalur taluk there are 80 schools, of which 18 have bagged 100 per cent result. Ten are unaided schools, six are government schools and two are aided schools which have bagged cent per cent results. The taluk has retained its fourth position even this year. Basavanahalli Vidyashree High School in the city has bagged zero percentage with all the students failing in the examination.
As many as 16 schools in Kadur taluk and 14 in Koppa taluk have bagged cent per cent result. A total of 3,880 students appeared for the examination of which 3,392 have passed. Over 8,600 ICSE and ISC students from the city await their fate with bated breath.
The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) will declare the results of Class X (ICSE) and Class XII (ISC) at 3pm on Saturday. These examinations were conducted in February-March.
Shruti Narkar, an ICSE student, said she has lost her appetite. “There are butterflies in my stomach as I await my results. I am expecting to score above 85%.”
It is not just Mathematic and Science that is giving students nightmares, they actually fear their performance in the Environmental Studies (EVS) paper. For the first time this year, the EVS paper was application-based and students say they found it extremely tricky.
Carl Laurie, principal of Christ Church School in Byculla, said, “The EVS paper format was a little different this year. There were many application-based questions. So students are worried about the outcome.’’
A total of 1,32,922 students appeared for the ICSE exam of which 7,823 were from the city. In the case of ISC exams, a total of 59,905 students appeared for the exam all over the country of which 786 were from Mumbai.
