Mumbai University MU starts two new PG diploma courses


The University of Mumbai is launching two courses from this year: PG diploma in Human Rights and a PG Diploma in International Studies. The one-year course would be conducted by Department of civics and politics, Kalina campus.


The courses are in demand in the international job market by organisations like UN, NGOs and the embassies. Admission process for both begin in the month of July. According to Surendra Jondhale, head of the department, “The syllabus would be extensive and faculty would be invited from across India and abroad.”

Admission to Human Rights course would be on merit basis. For International studies, which will be a self-financed course, the department would conduct an entrance exam at the end of July. Classes will be conducted every Saturday and Sunday.
