Pune University News :- Pune University vice-chancellor surprises exam centres

In order to understand the functioning of examination process that takes place in colleges, University of Pune acting vice-chancellor Sanjay Chahande paid surprise visits to three colleges in the city on Tuesday.


Chahande along with controller of examination captain CM Chitale paid these visits at Sir Parshurambhau College, Wagire College, Saswad and Annasaheb Magar College, Hadapsar.


“The visits were part of knowing the conduct of examination in colleges. I wanted to see the entire functioning right from the opening of the seal of the bundle before the custodian to its distribution of to supervisors, senior supervisors and other staffs,” Chahande said.


He added that he was satisfied with all the three colleges’ functioning.


The college authorities said that they were pleasantly surprised to see the VC. According to them, the surprise visit built up pressure on them, but they were happy to have him at the center.
Chahande checked the seals of paper bundles. He also checked whether the staff appointed for exam job is punctual.
