MBA CET 2012 Statistics
Maharastra CET (MH-CET) 2012 results for MBA/MMS courses been declared, around 79,000 students will fight for 34,000 seats across 400 MBA colleges in Maharashtra.
Reports reveal that about 82,000 had appeared for the exam held on March 11 out of which around 79,000 have managed to clear the examination.
Statistics show that some MBA colleges in Nagpur have gone bankrupt due to around 2,000 vacant seats last year. In 2010 session, around 5000 seats remained vacant all over the state.
CET score is accepted by almost all MBA colleges and institutes across the state.
However, this is the last year MH-CET was conducted for MBA/MMS courses.
From next year, CET will be replaced by CMAT will be held twice a year by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE).
Important dates for admission to MBA colleges:
Registration for GD/PI & receipt of call letter- April 19 to 30
Conduct of GD/PI at select centres - May 10 to 31
Submission of work experience certificate - May 10 to 21
Document verification - May 10 to 31
Display of provisional merit list on website - June 16 at 5pm
Submission of grievance applications - June 18 to 19
Display of final merit list on website - June 25 at 5pm
