After declaration of Assam HSLC results students will take admission in higher secondary classes in and outside the state. Some will even consider the professional courses available after 10th or HSLC.

The High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) is awarded after school students successfully complete the curriculum and examinations of schools affiliated to state boards in India.
The awarding body is the Board of Secondary Education of the various states in India.
Board of Secondary Education, Assam, or SEBA as it is also
known, is the state level authority for conducting examinations and
providing assurance for the quality of education imparted in schools
within Assam that are affiliated to it.
High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) is the award given through the authority of this board to students who have passed the HSLC examination successfully.
